Since I come from a background in A Course in Miracles and not the bible or Christianity, I am looking for gems of truth within the bible. I honestly disregard what is not in accord with God and His Laws / Way as I have been shown it and know it.... and focus only on what is true, helpful and loving.
I have come to have a deep respect for the bible. I find divine passages of Jesus' truth and love beautifully articulated and weaved throughout the bible. I love stumbling upon them.
I am grateful for what I have found in the bible, especially because what I found is saying the same thing as ACIM is! Showing its the same Jesus!
I have put a few of the quotes that I love, that are very very similar (if not exactly the same in content) to what A course in miracles says, below.
I would love to see some of your favorite quotes in the comments below as well :)
Enjoy my favorite bible quotes!

1 John 4:7-21
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
Galatians 5:14
For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourSelf.”
Acts 4:32
All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. (ACIM says "miracles are for believers, by believers"- and we are asked to "give all to all")
Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
John 14:12
“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.
Psalms 86:5
“You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.” (IN other words, God gives to all, but only those who Ask Him for His Love and Will, will know that its been given them. For asking is a demonstration of our faith and willingness to be our Fathers Child. When we call to our Father (not our ego), we Receive and experience what our Father gave, abounding love and forgiveness and goodness.)
Mark 11:24
“And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” ( In other words, as you give forgiveness to your brother, you will know that You are forgiven. As you Give, you receive. That IS Gods Law)
1 Corinthians 1:10
I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.
2 Corinthians 13:11
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, beofonemind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
Daniel 9:9
"The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him."
Galatians 6:1-5
Doing Good to All
6 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. 3 If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. 4 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, 5 for each one should carry their own load.
1 Peter 3:8
Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.
Proverbs 20:5
The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out.
Matthew 22:37
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
1 John 4:7-21
"God is Love"
1 John 4:7-21
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 19 We love because he first loved us. 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. (ACIM has a whole section on "perfect love casts out fear": "In sorting out the false from the true, the miracle proceeds along these lines:
4 Perfect love casts out fear.
5 If fear exists, then there is not perfect love.
6 But:
7 Only perfect love exists.
8 If there is fear,
It produces a state that does not exist.
9 Believe this and you will be free. 10 Only God can establish this solution, and this faith is His gift." Chapter 1 – VI.
Hebrews 10:17
“Then he adds: Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” (This is what it means to truly forgive some one, to let go of the past- their sins / lawless acts- and see them as God sees them: loved, innocent as they knew not what they were doing, forgiven. "The past is over. It can hurt me not" ACIM Lesson 289)
Matthew 19:12, KJV:
For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
Matthew 2:10
When they saw the star, they were filled with JOY! (Joy is of the Kingdom, the knowing that we are saved)
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
