It used to be easy to get caught up in the busyness of our days and think all is well in the world. It used to be easy to forget about whats taking place on a larger scale. That's changing now. Its becoming abnormal to NOT know. The discord that is taking place in our selves, between our countries and in our world today is being broadcasted everywhere, and its not okay.
In the highest Truth everything is perfectly okay, absolutely... but right now in time and space, we are going through a massive upheaval where darkness and hate in all its glory are being shown in some aspect every single day. We cannot turn a blind eye to what is happening any longer. In the last week alone we have seen Sinead O'Conner's outcry on social media with thoughts of suicide and mental illness, Chester Bennington from Linkin Park actually taking his own life, to the U.S President Donald Trump making threats right back to North Korea that could potentially lead to a civil or world war, and to the recent Neo-Nazi White Supremacist rally's and attacks in Charlottesville, killing Heather Heyer and wounding 19 (and lets not forget Trump's very delayed comments on the matter). All are collective issues that represent the sick culture we have created and built up from many many years of us passing along our beliefs, habits and ideologies that contort our view of humanity. We seem to have forgotten that to be HUMANE towards all people is what being human is all about. There is this increasing manifestation of internal and external war. At this time if we don't speak up about it, it can very easily spread around the world and become a global epidemic. A war infested world is NOT the world I want. A hatred torn world is NOT the world I know to be true. This is NOT the path I choose for us to take. So as a white female living in Canada with a father and family who are American and a platform where I am blessed to share ideas about new perceptions of events that happen in our world, it is my duty to shine some light on this area and talk about what needs to be talked about. So here I am.
The fastest way we are going to overcome this, is to first ask ourselves what all of these things happening in the world means for us as an individual and as a collective humanity.
I see personally see it as a turning point for both the individual and the collective. It is a realization for us that things MUST change. We cannot wait for another Jesus or Martin-Luther king to come save us. We must stand up for what is happening and save ourselves. We can do just that, by bringing to light the ways we might be dealing with these issues at this time. In hopes that we correct our own errors, find our own voice, and offer a new way to see all of this that supports the qualities of love, trust and brotherhood.
Of these four ways to deal with global catastrophes of hate, attack and death, notice which of them is most like your current experience.
